		Google Art Project The National Portrait Gallery is proud to be a part of the Google Art Project--an online platform through which the public can access high-resolution images of artworks housed in the Gallery as well as the Project's partner museums. The Art Project platform enables users to virtually tour the museum’s galleries, explore physical and contextual information about artworks, and compile their own virtual collection. The National Portrait Gallery was part of a major expansion to the Art Project with 151 museums from 40 countries added to the online feature. The Project now includes more than 32,000 artworks from 46 museums.
