Artist Statement:
Trace started off as a hired model and over time has become a friend. Aside from modeling, he's also a lead singer in a local rock and roll band here in the L.A. area. Over time, as Trace modeled for me and we would speak of our life and circumstances, I noticed he would occasionally refer to himself in the 3rd person. Thus came my idea for a double portrait and a means of showing the feminine and masculine side of his personality and appearance.
