Many of my models are people I spot in public places. I trust my intuition when approaching total strangers; it has led me to some fascinating people, such as Kaveh Razani. I spotted Kaveh at a neighborhood coffeehouse and he agreed to let me draw him.

Sometimes I find myself so inspired that I do several different portraits of the same person. Kaveh and I are planning to do another photo shoot this weekend.
