Unit 1: From Revolution to Constitution
Summative activities:
- Make a time line of major events in American Revolutionary
history, from the Stamp Act of 1765 to the Treaty of
Paris of 1783. Write a one-sentence explanation of the
importance of each event included in your selection.

- Divide the class into two groups to study and discuss
the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution
of the United States. Students should work as a group,
but make each student responsible for learning and understanding
a few lines of each document. Final presentations should
include one group teaching a document, line by line,
to the other group.
