 Portrait Stories (elementary school level, kindergarten through sixth grade)
One of our most popular programs, Portrait Stories incorporates a portrait from the NPG collection with a children's biography about the portrait subject and a related hands-on art project. NPG storytellers visit schools, community organizations, recreation centers, and family day events to present these lively and engaging history lessons to children ages five to twelve.
