Docent Tours
Docent led tours are offered:
MondayFriday:
11:45 a.m., 1:00, 2:15, and 3:30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday:
11:45 a.m., 1:30, 3:15, and 4:30 p.m.

Group Tours
Tours of America's Presidents, the Permanent Collections, Highlights of the National Portrait gallery and temporary, special exhibitions are available for groups of 12 or more. To schedule a tour please email: NPGAdultTours@si.edu or call: (202) 633-8519.
Six weeks or more advance notice is appreciated. We will make every effort to accommodate your request. Tour requests depend on the availability of docents, gallery size, and other factors. Please note, submitting a tour request does not guarantee a tour.

Gallery360
Gallery360 is a conversation about the portraits in a single gallery, led by the artist who created them. Ask an established or emerging artist about their inspiration or the evolution of their work at Gallery360. Take a look around.

Come play the National Portrait Gallery’s new multimedia collection–inspired trivia game.

Cultures in Motion
Over the past 20 years Cultures in Motion has entertained and enlightened visitors by offering a window into the many extraordinary individuals who have helped shape this country. These unique performances, featuring talented actors, singers and musicians, are a popular program for the National Portrait Gallery.
Programs are free; reservations are required.

Reel Portraits
Reel Portraits presents feature and documentary films related to National Portrait gallery exhibitions and collections, with introductions by specially-informed presenters.
