Daniel Webster

This portrait of Daniel Webster , by John Neagle hung in Mathew Brady's New York Studio along with paintings of Henry Clay, and John C. Calhoun. Brady sold all three to the United States government in 1881 for $4000, and today they can be found hanging outside the Senate chamber.
