Interview with Marcel Duchamp, conducted by Earl Carter of the Pasadena Museum of Art, October 1963.  In conjunction with “Marcel Duchamp: A Retrospective Exhibition,” hosted by the museum (October 10-November 3, 1963).

In this interview, Duchamp discusses his work Nude Descending a Staircase (No. 2), 1912, which caused a sensation at the 1913 Armory Show in New York, as well as the connection between his art and his love for chess.
